House Projects
Completed:
- Hardwood floors refinished (Douglas Fir) sanded and protected
- Reconnected the 220v outlet in the basement for the dryer
- Installed a lift (pump) in the basement for the washer (This will allow us to install plumbing for a second bathroom in the future for when we finish the basement.)
- Installed a motion-sensored flood light on the back porch.
- Replaced all light bulbs with CFL energy-efficient bulbs. (except decorative lights)
- Removed old air conditioning unit from dining room window.
- Mowed the lawn
- Raked the lawn to remove as much dead grass & weeds as possible.
- Fertilized the lawn with Scotts TurfBuilder with WeedControl (we have lots of dandelions)
- Dug an area for our garden.
- Built a wood frame for our box garden.
- Removed old drapes and hardware
- Grounded all outlets, GFI in bathroom
- Hooked up Washer / Dryer
- Grounding all electrical outlets
- Plant Garden
- Overseed the lawn & water the lawn
- Install 1″ wood blinds
- Get the kitchen remodel started. (ongoing)
- Install drains around downspouts to keep water away from house foundation
- Pads on all furniture to protect the floors
- Replaced toilet seat
- Replaced toilet pump
- Caulk windows in back, took out antenna in front, caulked hole.
- Fixed bathroom window to open
- Replaced all batteries in smoke detectors, tested.
- Cable management in basement
- Painted 3rd coat in green room
- Insulated the water heater
- Cut a piece of plexiglas for the dryer vent
- Wire the house with Cat6 cable
- Carpet back closet & laundry area downstairs
- Install closet organizer in back closet
- Painted master closet
- Install ceiling fan & light in bedroom
- ADT Security System installed.
- Installed ceiling fan & light in living room
- Installed dimmers for decorative lights in dining room & living room
- Installed screens for windows without them.
- Replace all plexiglas windows with glass.
- Paint and fix exterior trim in back.
- Clean, Oil, Stain any wood trim that needs it
- Install wood door stops for doors that are missing them (have them)
- Install Cat6 & coaxial jacks in all rooms
- Paint bedroom & bathroom
- New 6′ Cedar Fence
- Point & Tuck Brick
- Paint exterior of house
- Built 10’x12′ Shed
